By installing the SUBARU STARLINK™ app on your mobile device, you will have access, via your in-vehicle Multimedia touch-screen, to a suite of STARLINK cloud-based applications.

When new apps or updates become available, the STARLINK app will automatically push them directly to your Multimedia screen; providing you with the latest content and entertainment.

Please note that the STARLINK app must be installed on your mobile device before connecting it to your Subaru.

STARLINK app capability standard on most 2015 and later Subaru models. Not available on 2017 and 2018 STARLINK 6.5-inch Multimedia systems. Availability of each application depends on the model year of your vehicle and region.

NOTE: To access STARLINK Safety and Security Remote Services, you must install the MySubaru Mobile App. Safety and Security services require separate subscription. See your retailer for details.

5 stars: Love the info and the app
3 stars: 2018 Forester XT. Took a Pixel 5 to run this. Had a Samsung that did not work. Read LG was a contender but connectivity was sporadic. Updated to a Pixel device and it connected. Works well enough. Not android auto but cheaper than a new head unit.
3 stars: Wish it wouldn't run in the background all the time, runs down my phone. I have to turn my phone on and off to get it to close. Some technical issues, overall just because it's associated with Subaru I love it.
5 stars: Works as expected. Great APP
5 stars: For real, folks, it has gott'a be something you're doing that is not right with your pairing, or your devices. Using Motorola Android with 2019 Crosstrek Touring. All phone apps work perfectly: Google maps, phone book, iHeart, as well as many other audio streaming apps, and all remote functions and diagnostics. Maybe an Apple issue? Worth looking into. Discuss.
