4 stars: The voices are great. But the app is TERRIBLE. Keeps deleting my pdfs. Constantly stalling. Now the actual buttons have disappeared, like help and settings. What a waste of a LOT of money. Update: customer service told me to change my language settings on my device to English US/UK and it fixed the issue.
3 stars: The premium voices are more pleasant and natural than what you get with basic. However, the intermittent pausing glitch has not been resolved, the chosen voice changes, it doesn't pick up where you left off, and it's difficult to find pages and pick new starting points.
2 stars: When it works it is great. Unfortunately it doesn't work 50% of the team. The voice skips on a pagely basis and makes the app unusable. Plus, can only be used when attached to wifi or data, deeply limiting the access to lower income families, some of whom could use the service the most.
2 stars: Unfortunately this app doesn't default to an offline mode. It likes to eat through your data if you're not careful. Also, after the first few files added to the app, the functionality of the
