ARK: Survival Evolved is more like Minecraft than The Forest : without knowing too many details, you arrive to an island filled with dinosaurs. Your mission will be to discover what happened while you try to survive alongside other users, since ARK is a game with Online Mode . To that end, you will look for resources, create new objects using a crafting system , build structures and shelters... but this time, your little wood shack will not be of much use against the stomping of a T-Rex.
The presence of dinosaurs is what distinguishes ARK from other similar games, like The Long Dark and the aforementioned The Forest. It is like living in your own version of Jurassic Park !
