The Glims plugin was built to add a few more extra features to your Safari browser.
It will essentially expand the functionalities of the browser's search tool, like adding a thumbnail next to search results or adding the search engine name in the search box. Glims comes with a large list of search engines, which you can rearrange at will and select from a drop down in the search box. Glims will also allow you to display link and search word suggestions. These will appear in a black bubble under your search box. I quite liked this tool and found it very useful.
The thumbnail feature was the only one not to work properly, as not only did I find that it slowed my browser, but the thumbnails themselves did not display properly.
