Screen pattern is shifted each 5 minutes to prevent uneven pixel wear-out.
This app has limited functionality on Android 7 and newer, it cannot dim system buttons and notification area, because of new security model in Android 7.

    4 stars: For some reason it made Kaspersky Mobile Security screen unresponsive until i switched off PixelFilter. So weird. But this App truly helps you save battery on LG G5 Quad-HD screen.
    5 stars: Great app. Does what it should and has features to prevent burn in. The flaws are in the phone. Can not recommend for phones with 720p displays. Very noticable at such a lot dpi.
    5 stars: Works in OnePlus X without any issues. I will going to test if it saves my battery consumption. My results: it saves battery, but some documentation says you can have better results if screen brightness is reduced. For me I think the most important utility of this app is reduce the minimum default brightness of my device. It should reduce the battery consumption with adaptive brightness on. I test it and the screen was readable in day light outdoors.

    5 stars: I haven't used this for very long but when the filter is on at 75% Every 25 minutes it only consumes around 60 mAh with my every day usage. Would highly recommend this and you can save even more power when you use this with Hibernation Manger.
