We have to admit that we thought we'd be given more options, but found they were quite limited - you can mark items as favorites (and then quickly access them through a Favorites menu), but that's about it. There are no personalized settings, no ability to download programs for offline viewing, and no parental lock. High quality, as befits the BBC

BBC iPlayer for iPhone gets a solid 7 from us. As long as you are aware of the geographical restrictions, there's nothing here to make things complicated. We would have liked more options, but for simply viewing your favorite content, there's not much more you can ask for.
