4 stars: The picture and sound quality are great. The app is easy to use. Like that it reads the room temperature and you can set a desired range. The app is a bit glitchy when trying to turn off the camera (won't work) and sometimes the sound randomly cuts out when it's on.
5 stars: Works great. I love being able to check in while at work through the app. The quality of the feed is sharp. App is easy to use and it's easy to set up family accounts. The speaker on the Nanit is poor quality so don't expect great sound. To a newborn baby sound quality isn't necessarily an issue so the white noise does the trick.
4 stars: I love the app and the insights/tips it provides. Very useful. The phone notifications are also another great feature that sets this apart from a traditional monitor. The feed can have a delay of about 5+ seconds and has a tendency to frequently freeze when I use on my phone as a monitor overnight. A reboot will reset it, but it's enough to stress a new parent out. Also, the ambient noise feature is a little lackluster.
4 stars: Nanit is generally good and has excellent imaging to keep track of your sleeping LO. It has some short-comings in that it requires WiFi to use, so if yours is temperamental at all, or the signal isn't as strong you may run into issues. I like the insights and the fact that it easily keeps track of when your baby's last nap was - saves you having to watch the clock all the time!
