hoopla Digital APK 4.60

3 stars: I can't access titles that I've downloaded without first accessing the internet. So download books to take to the cottage or other area I dont have wifi coverage? No point, they just won't play without my being able to sign in, provide a password, etc. I've flagged this before, but hoopla keeps telling me I have an old version of the app, no matter how many times I've updated it. So silly.
4 stars: It is clear and easy to hear. But the close proximity of the 15-seconds backup arrow and back-to-previous-chapter arrow sometimes causes me to click the wrong one. And then it is difficult to find my place again. I have to search for quite a while to find my place again.
4 stars: Decent, but not huge selection of ebooks. You at least can sort genres nicely to find something good and the recommended and popular lists are nice too. I get only 10 borrows a month so this isn't going to substitute Netflix for tv or movies. I do love the instant access to content without a lame reservation system. Can I please have a dark mode.
4 stars: This is an excellent app. There is a large selection of titles. Hours of viewing! The only critiques are that the limit of borrowing 10 titles per month needs to be removed and it would be nice if the series were updated more quickly. Overall lots of love!
3 stars: I like the fact that alot of books are available to borrow without a wait. I have other library apps but l find l use this app the most. I have had trouble downloading
