This new version has been 3 years in preparation and improves the top play strength by 10 grades from 8 kyu to 3 dan. This is based on the new Aya program, which was the winner of the KGS World Computer Go Championship November 2014 and EGC Computer Go Tournament 2015. It is consequently a substantially bigger program, but offers much more.

With its rich strategy and simple rules, the ancient game of Go (Wei-chi/Baduk) is widely regarded as the ultimate thinking game. This product will allow you to learn and master this game!

    3 stars: Since I am trying to learn I placed a single player against a computer and I give myself a handicap of five or six what I would love to see is since I asked for a tip or whatever from the computer and then usually do that suggested move I would love it if it could explain why it placed the piece where it did since I first try to anticipate the best placement before I ask for the clue.
    5 stars: The ads are not excessive, the territory count is amazing, even worth playing 2 player by yourself, and it was great to play with my wife when it would have been the blind leading the blind. Cherry on top is being able to rewind a move and try variations, seeing how territory prediction changes. It might not be perfect, particularly for players who have an idea what they're doing but it worked great for us!
    4 stars: I'm trying to learn Go and this app is good. The Help menu where to move is not always on. You have to click twice to get help hints every single time, which is too much! That is the only negative comment.
    3 stars: Would have given full stars but everytime I play a game ads come on after which there is no way to get rid of them. Just waited 10 mins for last ad and still can't continue game.
    4 stars: Good for learning. I'm a noob, but working against the AI and watching instructional videos on YouTube by a 1 Dan master just led me to a scorching 39.5 point victory against a level 16 AI. Would like a multiplayer online option. Other apps offer it, but
