Backgammon Offline APK 1.5.3

3 stars: Some aspects ok but others less so. You have to start at beginner level which is ridiculous as the dice are not completely random (I'm sure the developers will state otherwise!). I have played backgammon in person and online for years and am suddenly terrible at it on this particular app! Constant ads are a bit annoying and abrupt. I found it quicker to close and reopen the app rather than sit through them.
3 stars: Pretty good. Many complain about rigged dice, but I haven't encountered that...my win ratio on expert is 48%. The biggest flaw is that the game never scores a backgammon correctly...the best possible outcome is a gammon even when the opponent still has checkers in my home area or on the bar.
4 stars: Overall a very good game, but it seems at times the tablet knows just what it needs - and gets it. I know it's supposed to be completely random, but the more you bet, the more un-random it it appears to be.
4 stars: Say what you want, your game cheats. I'm still killing it at around 3/4 million, but there's NO WAY those rolls are random. I'm a mathematician and probabilities and statistics are my area of expertise.
4 stars: It cheats by setting you up on the advanced level when you have high wagers by putting you in positions that you have to move where it wants you. Other then that it very addicting.
5 stars: Great app! I like to be able to play offline. Great practice app. Cool and simple. Dice not too rigged. Variable AI.
