5 stars: Missing content like Tasha's cauldron of everything, Icewind Dale: Rime Of The Frostmaiden and Candlekeep Mysteries. All of which I bought on DDB and wanted to read with the dark theme at night. UPDATE: Emailed support and they helped me restore the purchases. Super happy with their great support and an app that is working perfectly now.
3 stars: Really, truly excellent up until a few days ago, when it broke entirely and now crashes every time it tries to sync product licenses. So, you know, not great just this second. But a week ago it was far and away better than trying to navigate the DDB mobile site and much more easily searchable as well.
4 stars: An inferior version of the web site, lacking access to partially purchased books and spells not filtering by class. The downloaded book functionality does allow for offline use, and it's a lot lighter than carrying around an equivalent number of full sized books.
5 stars: All the complex data from books in a very browsable app format, love the links that can be clicked to take you instantly to the correct spot for more info. Bookmarks are great and can be categorised. Had start issues but they were fixed.
4 stars: Excellent tool for looking at books and quickly finding spells, class info, you name it. Only way to really improve would be making eldritch invocations and similar class features (such as the Artificer's infusions) into a convenient tab on the class info alongside the tables and subclasses. <
