3 stars: Stupid is as stupid does. Why would anyone want constant scanning running in the background this draining the battery. That defies logic. There is no legitimate need for it. Just manually scan your own stuff when you feel the need. It is quite pathetic and sad to think you have to constantly scan. Get a grip snowflakes.
5 stars: Seeing as Apple went out of their way to add a security feature to android even though they have such limited control for implementation compared to what they can do to IOS is greatly appreciated! Even though it's a manual scan, just being able to scan for an air tag on an Android without needing an IOS device really helps!
3 stars: Hello! It clearly says the tracker needs to be away from it's paired device for at least 15min. Reading 101. Having auto-detect would mean you'd need to have to software run in the background at all times. Not ideal. However, they could update the app to use Bluetooth LE. Hopefully, that's the next step.
