4 stars: nice app, but sharing to messaging platforms like messenger doesn't work at times. the image gets shared but tapping on the shared article wont work.
4 stars: Easy to use. My main bugbear is that I am forced to sit through ads nearly as long as the videos before I can watch them.
3 stars: A few things that could be better: the image at the top of the Sideswipe article isn't scaled correctly; you can't copy text from articles for pasting into Google search; and you can't order search results by date. And if course too much clickbait and typos in news, but that's not the app's fault.
2 stars: Too many articles that won't open unless you pay money, it's always asking you to sign in, and often articles won't even open at all untill pressed on 12 times. Oh and the search feature sucks. Good luck trying to find an article by keyword, even if that keyword is in the headline. It's so annoying I am deleting the app out of frustration.
2 stars: Playing their videos seems to be a bit difficult... takes forever for the first add 5o play. Then sometime if you click the play button again because it appears nothing us happening it eventually plays twice in parallel, sound and all... then whe. You back out of that article to the main page it is still playing, only way to stop it is to kill the app.
