Img2icns couldn't be simpler - just drag and drop the photos you want to turn into icons into the interface, select a conversion format, and click convert. Unfortunately, some of the more advanced features, such as export iPhones icons and Favicons are only available in the Pro Edition which you have to pay for. However, for making simple icons, it couldn't be a more simple or straightforward tool although it would be nice to be able to select what size of Icon you want to create.
