5 stars: As a lifelong map fan Windy Maps is a beautiful digital rendition of the kind of detailed Ordinance Survey maps I used to pore over as a kid. Incredibly detailed. Incredibly useful. Won't go anywhere without downloading the appropriate Windy Maps map.
3 stars: It's a good app but what stops it being great is the total inability to upload and download gpx files or to share the folder with tracks. I run a scout group and I would standardise on this app if we could share routes.
4 stars: Well done mapping program! Special, useful. But counting contour lines are in meters even though settings are to display in feet. I don't understand meters of elevation. Please fix. Thanks
5 stars: Amazing. Everything down to trails and gas stations and in a compact amount of data and can be used offline. Visually beutiful and easy to use and well.
5 stars: Just fantastic. I always used the windy app to zoom to high resolution and said, such a pity there isn't this map as a separate app, and whoosh, one magic wand swish later and windy oblige . Perfect! I donated, windy have written my two of my favorite apps on my phone.
