5 stars: Unreal app to navigate Europe offline. We drove around the Azores and this gave incredible turn by turn navigation and was fairly accurate with directions. Tip: find and bookmark your destinations before heading out. It's sometimes difficult to find exactly locations and attractions otherwise. Definitely a recommended app for those who can't use mobile data whole travelling.
4 stars: a very good app overall. my experience with it is although it can get you to your destination, the app is a bit buggy in how it gives out its voice prompts like when to turn and so on. the screen layout spins around a lot and by the time it settles back down to tell the correct direction you already passed it. that's not so good for this who very dependent on the app for directions.
3 stars: Maps.me used to be really good, with a clean and intuitive interface. However, the recent revision has been a giant step backward, with added steps and complexities. Previously, the maps were prominently displayed, with informational text placed discreetely at top and bottom. Now this arrangement is reversed, with the text inefficiently spread within much unused white space, leaving only a
3 stars: Last update has made the maps unsearchable. The search does not work and the map won't stay where I last used it. It always reverts to the same location it was at after the last update. Why do app makers always update to the point of failure. Reminds me of the Peter principle.
