5 stars: Overall very good app and works fine. The only improvement needed is to switch the tv back on with the app. And also the keyboard on the phone does not work for instance, if you want to search anything on Netflix or google. It takes ages to write one word with those up/down keys. Please look into this matter as well.
4 stars: Can power on and off TCL TVs. Power on is a little glitchy but works
4 stars: This app is great, works well, can cast videos from my phone. However, when I cast videos to my tv and my phone screen goes to sleep mode, the playback will be interrupted saying
3 stars: It had almost no problem playing a movie from my phone before, but now, every movie I've downloaded doesn't play, the screen says something like
2 stars: Tested on a 2018 TCL SmartTV(not Android). Cannot submit searches in TV apps such as Youtube or Netflix. I can type in text on the phone, but text does not get sent to the TV. I'm not trying to cast, I'm trying to run text searches on the apps running on the TV operating system. The point of the app is to enable quick searches, so it's a deal breaker if the functionality is not working.
2 stars: This app was good. Then overnight it's just not working. My phone & TV are very clearly saying they're on the same network, but it doesn't register that they are, so now I have no control of my TV again (TV remote isn't working even though it's new). I've tried troubleshooting, but no joy 😭
