You’re a small town detective. An anonymous tip leads you to a collection of sadistically murdered girls dumped on the forest estate of an eccentric, reclusive millionaire. A group of strangers are holed up in his dilapidated cabin, waiting out the recent storm.

They seem unaware of the murders, but the serial killer is hidden among them. You need to interrogate the suspects, gather clues, and stop the killer, but if you don’t tread carefully, more innocent people will die.

    5 stars: It's been a while since I read a story where I was engaged enough to be fearful of failing. All the characters have secrets that you must work to uncover, and your suspicions can change from one moment to the next. Even if you take the game aspects out, it's still a damn good detective story.
    4 stars: A real mystery. The guys are really annoying but they're still managable. But what's not manageable? Alcohol. The murderer changes everytime. (Sorry, The gal with the PTSD. I was just really sure it was you).
    5 stars: It's been too long since I've last read a good story from HG. And this was phenomenal. Hooked me right from the beginning. People like different things. I don't care about the replay value, I care about the story, plot and characters. Great game for someone looking for those things.

    4 stars: The game is fine but the lack of divergent paths hinders it's ability to scratch the itch for an actual unique mystery.
    5 stars: One of the more humane games in the CYOA games in the way that emotion is not underplayed in this one. Had a good time playing it.
    4 stars: A lot of fun. Would like to play female/interested in men though (not gameplay relevant but does affect character backstory).
