3 stars: I played Duskwood, the game this is a sequel to, and loved it; and Moonvale did add some nice QoL features such as subtitles for the videos, and the story is very nice. However, it loses two stars for the absolutely awful freemium currency scheme! Duskwood had a media pack that was a single payment, but Moonvale relies on
3 stars: The story seems interesting, but the microtransactions were a huge disappointment. I would prefer to pay money for one episode, than being forced to pay for diamonds if I wanted to choose a premium option. Getting diamonds from getting achievements and for exchanging virtual money to diamonds seems to not be enough. Also, AI art... The story is nice, but the rest is a huge disappointment. ☹️
2 stars: A big Downgrade from your last game (Duskwood) in all aspects: the characters (initially), the dialogues and choices in them, the general appearance, and the Mini- game. The Mini-game here has become very bad. The look of the game is bad, the gameplay, the stage or levels design, the game is very poor and needs to be improved. I know you can do much better than this. 2 stars: This game is a sequel to an amazing story that I deeply love, and while I still adore the plot the pay-to-win gameplay, the AI art, and the strange changes to the layout and UI are unacceptable. If there are no changes made by the time the next episode comes out then I might as well just uninstall
