5 stars: Plays very good on an S20 FE 5G. Sometimes framerates drop, but game has never crashed. Learning curve to touch controls is a bit high but it can be mastered. Loving the game thus far. Minor complaint, sometimes it won't let me start up without connecting to wifi, the game will not use cell data to download additional content.
4 stars: Good port. Would help with some graphical settings (e.g. remove foliage) as grass drops the frame rate a fair bit. In terms of control I think the steering radius could be bigger to make it less sensitive and give more precise control. Overall, love the original game, cool that we can play it on the phone now but definitely a challenge!
4 stars: This is a great port. I've been playing the game on xbox for about a year and this version is almost identical other than the optimisation. I'm on a high end phone (S21 FE) and the game lags. Other than that, controller support is great and I'm sure optimisation will come in the future. Worth the 10 quid.
3 stars: I'd rate this 3.5 if I could. It's a great game, but even on my 2021 Samsung galaxy the game has some serious performance issues right now. It's almost unplayable. I have it on my iPad, and it runs super smooth on that, but on the phone I would maybe pass until it gets some optimization updates. Especially if you have a phone that came out before 2020. I doubt any hardware older than 2020 could run the game, so beware of that.
