You can use serial COM ports to communicate directly to a wide range of devices or use a dial-up modem to connect to modem systems. With this software you can use a TCP/IP network to connect to systems on the internet or your network using Telnet or Secure Shell (SSH). The software is not pretty however. It's quite clunky and grey looking like programs from ten years ago. The interface could be much more streamlined. Nevertheless it does the job well.
