GOM Player supports a huge range of file types, ranging from common video formats like mp4, AVI and flv to Matroska, Ogg, OGM and more. When the player doesn't have the necessary codec to play the chosen file, it will automatically search online for what it needs, directing you to a site where you can download the relevant codec. Designed for a multilingual environment, this media player also supports a wide range of different subtitle formats. You can even customize the appearance of the subtitles for maximum visibility. When setting up the player you can choose which file types it will automatically open; if you have a preferred media player for specific formats, you don't have to open them with GOM.
