5 stars: Excellent app. Clear font for reading, quick loading, not too many ads, news and other content updated constantly. Movement through the newspaper is intuitive. I really like the night mode (black screen, white letters): I use it always. Would like a 'most popular' column, like the NYT. In sum, a great way to read the paper.
4 stars: Reinstalled and now it's back to its usual good. Suddenly started freezing during splash screen. Generally a good app but unusable right now! Suddenly the app takes much longer to load and freezes when you navigate back to the main page after reading an article. Articles often don't load or take forever. Not having an issue in any other app (news or other), so I think it's a problem with this one.
4 stars: Well laid out application. I enjoy the print edition on the app, as well as the good contrast in fonts, and the subtle highlighting for alerts. Improvement Needed: Notifications when using night-mode need to adapt to the phone's notification color scheme; currently these notifications are unreadable (white font on white background).
4 stars: Very happy with the content and article suggestions. I wish the text-to-voice to read articles to you was more robust with better clarity and the ability to manually select which passage to re-read instead of having to just hitting the button to move one or two lines at a time.
