Stellarium Mobile - Star Map is a planetarium app that shows exactly what you see when you look up at the stars.

Identify stars, constellations, planets, comets, satellites (such as the ISS), and other deep sky objects in real time in the sky above you in just a few seconds, just by pointing the phone at the sky!

This astronomy application has an easy to use and minimalist user interface, that makes it one of the best astronomical applications for adults and children who want to explore the night sky.

Stellarium Mobile features:

5 stars: Takes a little to figure out how the options work, but you can put it in night mode, and see the planets in real time. You can even look on the other side of the globe. It would be easier to find constellations if they didnt have only such a small area highlighted in detail, as you scroll around, but that also keeps it clean and less distracting.
4 stars: I love so many aspects about this app! Getting to see the sky through the lens of different cultures is probably my favorite thing that sets it apart from some other apps I've tried. The only downside is sometimes the 'calibration' doesn't work and I'm waving my phone around like a fool for 3 mins for nothing. But even without the calibration it's still decently accurate and useful.
