Avast Secure Browser: Fast VPN APK 7.1.3

5 stars: I've been searching for an alternative to Chrome and this app is, BY FAR, the BEST option for free! I already had other Avast apps and this browser is very easy to use, it's includes a ton of options for FREE, i even had my husband sign up to get off Chrome completely... Thanks so much for offering quality apps that aren't plagued with ads and are free with great upgrade options!
4 stars: Seems to be a good search engine. Long time avast user and the only problem I see here is that the ad blocker doesn't seem to work, even on the strict setting I still get ads on apps like YouTube and Hulu. If the ads are fixed then it would be an automatic 5 stars.
3 stars: Not a bad browser, and hopefully it delivers the security it claims to. But not for me. It's simply too slow. I've tried it at home, on wi-fi elsewhere and on 4g, and it's painfully slow, often failing completely due to timeouts. I have the other browsers that all work normally in the same places. The desktop version is better, but brittle and closes when it gets frightened.
2 stars: The VPN is more stable in the past month but the automatic 'Avast Attendant' no longer works, all cookies and history have to be manually cleared as 'clear cookies' in the tab settings doesn't work either. Makes you wonder what else isn't working... If it stored and played gifs properly, I'd give it a better rating.
