4 stars: This app is very good, the ads can be weird but that's fine for the free version. I briefly had the paid version and it was finicky because my payment wouldn't go through and had to contact them, and then it worked but then half of my free days were gone. So it is good but if you can stomach the ads and waiting for the new content it's worth a try! The translation has always been very good.
3 stars: I am having the same problem as other users. The app won't connect to chromecast, when it does connect the timing for the subtitles is off. I check my phone regularly for updates, which my phone tells me the app updated but the updates are not found for the app. I love viki because they are up to date a lot of korean and Chinese dramas and movies. I love that you can now rent movies that have just released. Please fix!!!
2 stars: Love that volunteers sub the dramas because they explain wordplay and cultural nuances that you don't get from paid sub-titling. Recently the app has been crashing when there is no problem with Internet and certain functions (such as skipping to the next episode) occasionally disappear. The video has also been freezing all functions so pause, etc. are not accessible while watching. Please fix these bugs.
