5 stars: Exceptional. I like having options of different prices on one item. Having a variety of items to buy makes going out to shop to seem like a waste of time and energy when I can get most of the things I need on the app which I struggle to get in walk-in shopping.
5 stars: I've been shopping with takealot since 2016 and my experience has been great thus far. From ordering to delivery and even returns, they always come out on top. The range has expanded vastly over the years and now with the competitor from USA there are more good deals. The app itself is easy to use and keeps you updated with your order/ return progress.
4 stars: App itself is quite good, easy to use / user friendly. Been using it for a few years now. Good variety of items and usually priced cheaper than elsewhere. Don't like the collection charge and mandatory delivery charge - what happened to free delivery for orders over R500? Other retailers still offer this. Also, the search filters, while mildly efficient, generally also show unrelated items which is very frustrating to scroll through.
4 stars: Takealot for everything 😍 only problem, happened multiple times. When I place and order and choose my delivery option, before I even make the payment, if I decide I want to go backwards to review my cart, double check, the order has already gone through and the cart is empty 🥹
