Synology Photos APK 1.2.2

5 stars: Works flawlessly on Galaxy S10. I wish I had more flexibility to select the exact folder to backup to, but it's great. No ability to edit a photo but otherwise interface is similar to Google photos. I use this to backup all my pics at full resolution on my own Synology server, and only upload selected ones to Google photos as needed.
4 stars: Good app. My only issue so far is that when it is set up to sync pictures to the NAS when connected to Wifi and the wifi is ON but no network connected AND the data on, it will sync the files over the data connection. I maxed out all my data. It should check if the wifi is on AND also if a network is really connected using the wifi, before syncing, whrn the configuration is so, instead of using the data connection.

4 stars: At last, dark mode is here! Customizing backup destination is great, but why does it recreate the folder tree of the phone to the destination? Ex: I backup to shared /photo, but instead of having the photos and videos directly to the root directory of /photos (like with DS File photo backup), it recreates the DCIM folder and Camera subfolder.
5 stars: Amazed at all the whining about this app. It is not meant to be a photoshop tool. Synology is meant to backup and archive. The 220+ is miles ahead of WD My Cloud in terms of speed and functionality. Really it's those products that are comparative
