5 stars: Terrific to have it installed by default on your smart phone today. While I can't say if it's good for calculations of a more advanced level I can say it's good for calculations of a more elementary level which is the level that the average user would be using this app for. Free of distracting advertisements and undesirable in-app offers. Clean and minimalistic with no bugs and no glitches. A must for so many of us for many years to come.
4 stars: It used to be great, it was my go to calculator for all my uses. When not in an exam at least. It gave me every option for manual inputs when performing calculations. Why can't I have individual brackets? Now they've changed it made it more simple and vastly more frustrating. You could at least enable me to have the option to use the previous, superior, layout.

3 stars: This app was the best calculator app ever. I'd never thought I would see Google update this app again, to be honest, but when they did, none of the changes make sense at all. Just give us a theming engine (even preset colors is fine) for apps instead of forcing a piercing bright UI on everybody like you do with basically all your apps.
