If you've played other multiplayer online role-playing games, most of Darkfall Rise of Agon will seem reasonably familiar; the various hotbars and interfaces are well-organised and easy to use. Unlike many popular MMOs, this game uses a first-person perspective. Combat is much more based on player skill and reaction time than many other games, so if you like to go head-to-head with other players rather than rely on your character's abilities (which are still important, of course), this might be the right game for you. There are no safe areas; PvP is possible anywhere in the game world. Not only are there no PvE-only areas, but PvP is full-loot, so you can plunder your victims' corpses, even taking their heads.
