Bubble is a visual web application development tool that takes the coding out of app creation. Instead of asking you to write code to create your web application, this unusual app presents its content with a simple visual tool that lets you drag and drop the functions that you want your app to include into a workflow organiser. The goal of this app is to separate the process of coding and app design.
Simple, but not automatic
Bubble presents itself as a tool that lets even non-coders design an application, but that doesn't mean that there's no work involved. The interface is easy to use, but there is something of a learning curve involved in mastering it. You'll definitely want to familiarise yourself with the tutorials and read the manual before you try to create anything. You can use a menu of visual elements, data sources, plugins and other tools to create your app, designing both what the app does and how it appears to users. The visual structure can get a little crowded, but with some patience and practice it does become relatively straightforward. Some of the limits of the format restrict what you can do, but a supportive community is on hand to help.
