NBA 2K17 is a fast paced, addictive game with a host of unlock-able content. The controls, something which has always been tricky on smaller screens, have been revamped and simplified. Controlling players on the court is now done through a smaller number of actions. It still feels like a game of basketball, but with less of the imprecise frustrations of previous releases. The app does heavily feature top players hidden behind paywalls, however, which can be off-putting if you don't link to sink much money into games. One for the Fans
With a simpler control system and European players, NBA 2K17 has a wider scope than ever before. Fans outside of America will find more to interest them, but the large cost required for competitive teams may deter others. A solid game that is worth a look.
