5 stars: Been using the app with the same number for the last four years or so. Back then, there hardly was no ads. Now, it could be stressful with so many ads just so the creators can get us to subscribe for the premium. However, we tried premium once and almost lost our number. So as long as freetone is free with ads, that's all that matters for us.
5 stars: 😉❤️ . Well ,when my chatr service went out for a little bit , I was still able to call out in wifi areas . So , basically; it's saved me from not having any service at all. I say thank you ! freetone call and and text. Too me, I consider this to be a worthy.i short , with the experiences I've had with apps. that's a high compliment. I like it a lot.
4 stars: Good solid actually free TEXT app only 4 stars because they lie about the calling. CALLING is NOT FREE cost credits to call however they make credits somewhat easy to aquire without throwing loot at the problem. Quality of calls seems on par. Messaging works just the same as typical mobile service. Adds are on the outrageous side on things but let's be real that's why it's free.
3 stars: Need more options. Can't send picture messages. Can't put voicemail on speakerphone. Can't change theme of app to dark mode. Just as many options as possible. And it's very hard to answer a phone call: doesn't turn screen on, no main screen notification. when it rings, no proper notifications especially if doing something else when it rings!
