TV Remote for Sony (Smart TV R APK 1.66

5 stars: works well for my Sony Android tv. it is easy to use, ads don't get much in the way at all. fairly good app if you lose your original remote. works better than the another app that wants you to pay a subscription for for Sony Bravia TV. I have to reconnect every time I open this app but it's pretty easy, just make sure you're on the same wifi as the tv and sometimes you have to manually type in the TVs Mac address
5 stars: It gives me complete control over my 4K Bravia TV. Very easy to use (on a Samsung Galaxy Tab, no real estate problem there). I can control the Youtube, Kodi apps and others. Gives me access to the TV menus, etc. I keep losing my remote, plus remotes get old and deteriorate.This app is a TERRIFIC replacement. Only flaw is, it turns off the TV but cannot turn it back on.
4 stars: A great app with one issue. I can't turn the tv on with the app. The tv asked me if I wanted to keep the tv on standby all the time so the function to turn it on would work through the app, but the app won't help me turn my tv on. This makes me sad because this sort of defeats the purpose of no longer needing a remote, as the tv has no power button. I am sad...
4 stars: Works great but can't replace the remote. Even though TV is on standby mode, cant turn it on. Once its on, then you can use the app as a remote controller. Would b 5* if it can turn on my TV
