"The Butler Did It" is a 300,000 word interactive novel by Daniel J. Elliot, and a finalist in the Choice of Games writing contest, where your choices control the story. It's entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

It doesn’t take long to realize that things are a little bit off though, to say the least. At Coburg Manor, you’ll make friends, battle enemies, and uncover a mystery far deeper and stranger than you ever imagined.

5 stars: This is a fantastic interactive science fiction set in a world with predominantly steampunk technology. The story is well written and all characters are well developed. There are quite a lot of typos, mostly spelling mistakes. But the storylines still flow smoothly. I hope the typos get corrected soon. Anyway, hands-down one of the best yet from Hosted Games. Kudos to the author and keep up the good work.
3 stars: This may be one of the few times were i liked everything but end up not liking the final product. i love the setting of the one City(when you actually are there). the Characters a fun and diverse (when you deal with them) But honestly the story put me to sleep i wasn't too shocked by the \
4 stars: An enjoyable read, but apparently released before QA was quite finished. There were little quirks, increasing as I reached the climax, then it crashed at suggested that I email the author. Hopefully, it is still being updated. I would like to see what the ending will bring.
5 stars: One of the best from Choice of Games yet. Fun characters and a fantastic storyline with twists you really won't see coming. If I had one complaint, I wish the epilogue had been a bit longer to let me enjoy what my choices led to a bit more!
4 stars: This was fun! Well written, good and interesting characters and the plot kept me wanting to know more. Only wish there was a little more romance, but even the friendships were nice so it's fine.
