Shogi (Beginners) APK 1.1.3

5 stars: This game helped me get better at shogi than I am at chess. Great for first timers, but the ai has the same reaction every time I rush their left. and an English setting would be nice, but I got used to the menu and play with friends, so I wouldn't say these solutions are mandatory. just nice to have.
5 stars: Solid Shogi game, specially when played with another person on a decent sized tablet. Online is just as fun, if you are a chess player who is completely new to Shogi, you will love the extra layer of strategy that any digital Shogi game(if ALL rules were accounted for when coding.). If you like Shogi, or are a chess player looking for a challenge, download NOW. And, do yourself a favor, and go buy a real Shogi set as well.
4 stars: I dont understand kanji, so adding an option to add English in there would be nice. Other than it being difficult to learn what the names of the tiles are from just playing, its easy to learn what their movements are. Having a quick tutorial (in more languages than just Japanese) I think more people could be able to learn how to play Shogi.
4 stars: Well, there is not much to say, but Shogi really is a challenging game. The rules are more complex than that of Chess, making it more interesting. This app helped me learn how to play Shogi, and now I can beat level 3 A.I. in first few moves. Had the A.I. been a little smarter, I would have rated it five stars. Overall experience is very good.
