5 stars: Instagram is great, but the
3 stars: The core of the app works fine. Uploading pictures and what not is as out what you'd expect. Messages, notes etc. are all good too. The biggest issue is when the app decides you can't like a real or view any of the comments. I have no idea why this happens, I've tried restarting the app, restarting my phone, updating the app and none of it works.
3 stars: I use instagram a LOT, so I enjoy it quite a bit. I do have some fundamental issues, though. For an image sharing website, it really lacks photo editing, especially with AI becoming more involved with the platform. There is also a lack of video editing options for a platform that promotes making reels. I'm usually better off editing my photos and videos on a separate platform, which isn't ideal.
2 stars: Whenever there's an issue with this app, I check to see if there's been an update. Imagine my surprise (or lack thereof) when I couldn't load comments or react to messages (can only reply) and I found there was an update the night before. Tried uninstalling and that didn't work. Please stop
