5 stars: Incredible story, charming characters, beautiful art and extremely fun to play. The game has both idle aspects and active gameplay segments (card battles and rhythm games) which are both very enjoyable; unlike other mobile games it never feels like a chore. The characters and story really are its strongest point; even just for that, it's one of my favorite mobile games of all time. 10/10 will join gargoyle fanclub again.
4 stars: After upgrading to a newer phone, this app works much, much better than it did on my old device. (It doesn't crash every 5 minutes on my new phone!) The story is engaging and the characters are interesting. Battles can be challenging, although I finally figured out how leveling up cards works. (Woulda been nice to know that LP replenishes over time.) It's surprisingly addictive once you get the hang of it.
3 stars: Been trying to start the game and can't make it past the tutorial. It keeps freezing or crashing, and I just had to uninstall and reinstall cuz it got stuck at a loading screen no natter how many times I shut it down and relaunched it. My friend absolutely loves it so I'm putting the effort in to give it a good try, and the art and characters are certainly enticing, but I'm not really enjoying playing the tutorial for the fifth time now...
