Phantasmat: Town of Lost Hope APK 1.0

5 stars: Very good and very creepy, and I'm usually not a big fan of 'murder' plots. Puzzles were challenging and HOGs interesting. Lots of spooky location. Satisfying length with interesting plot. I liked that you had to help multiple characters instead of just one. Option to go back and find missed collectibles is always a nice surprise. I didn't care for the first couple Phantsmat games, but this one completely changed my opinion. Looking forward to the next one.
3 stars: I've played all of the Phantasmat games, and found this the least enjoyable. The story and gameplay is OK, and I like that you can now click and drop items, but on a phone, I sometimes had to click several times on the map to get to locations, as they are so small, and you have to click twice to move to the location. The game was not as long as some, and I also found some of the puzzles repetitive and overly time consuming, but the bonus chapter was a good length. Why, though, is the central character in nearly all of these games a female? It would be nice to play as a male sometimes!
4 stars: Takes a lot to creep me out so the guy with the axe doesn't bother me so much. I appreciate that Epix has worked to use tap and drop rather than tap and drag. It's a lot more accurate. Graphics are a bit dreary but consider the theme. I'm not that far into it yet but so far the map has worked well, the puzzle instructions are mostly helpful and the collectable "signs" are findable.
