SoShare is a flexible file sharing webapp that handles large file sizes.
Previously an app, SoShare offers cloud-based sharing of files of almost any size. It uses Bittorrent protocols, which allows for fast transfer speed when uploading or downloading a file. Advertisement sam.cmd.push(function() { sam.display('review-app-page-desktop'); });
The great thing about SoShare is that there is no file size or type limit, meaning you can send everything from HD movies to large, high-res photo collections and more. Upload the file, name it whatever you like, add the email addresses of the people you want to share with, and write a message if you want to.
SoShare will then upload the file and email the recipient. To receive the file, the recipient opens SoShare through the link and downloads the file. In our tests, it worked perfectly.
Sign-up is kept to a minimum, the interface is easy to navigate, and the actual sharing works very well. Add that to the fact it's free, and SoShare becomes a very handy option for sharing various files with specific people.
