Micropoll is a handy online tool that allows you to quickly create online polls and surveys. It is useful if you want to gather opinion from visitors to your blog or take a quick look at what friends or colleagues think about a particular subject.
Making polls with Micropolls is dead easy. After registering your email address you're taken straight to the Edit Micropoll section, where you can start customizing your surveys. You can set a question, then add possible answers, defining whether you want your poll to be single choice, multiple choice, or a drop-down menu list. Micropoll lets you choose from a selection of themes and colors, and you can tweak options such as syndicate sharing, vote count display and result protection. One of the best things about Micropoll, however, is the way it can log information about voters. By recording a respondant's IP address, Micropoll can prevent that user voting more than once, and give you maps and pie charts outlining geographical data (only fully supported in the US).
Once you've finished your Micropoll survey you can copy and paste the HTML code into your website or simply share the link to the poll via Twitter or Facebook.
Micropoll includes a premium option called QuestionPro, which allows you to create more advanced surveys and generate in-depth analysis.
